Product Inspiration: Lemonade Edition

Developing non-soda beverage options remains a high priority for brand owners, since CSD sales have been on the decline for over a decade. While lemonades may have nutritional profiles similar to many CSDs on the market (and are similar in other ways, as sparkling varieties are becoming more common), consumer perception is that lemonade is a more wholesome, responsible beverage choice. We expect to see lemonade as a platform for future innovation, with more launches of sparkling lemonades, lemonade/tea hybrids, lemonades with compelling flavor profiles, and lemonades with added health benefits as a way to grow this segment during more than just the summer season.
