 In Blog

Nearly 1,300 suppliers from the beverage, functional food, personal care, sports nutrition, and dietary supplement industries debuted new ingredients and technologies during SupplySide West. Some of the innovative ingredients on the show floor support weight loss, satiety, healthy digestion, cognitive health, mental wellness, and fitness enhancement. Here are some of the most innovative ingredients we saw at the expo:

Glanbia Nutritionals introduced ProTherma, a heat-stable and soluble hydrolyzed whey protein, that makes formulating high-protein hot food and beverage products possible.

Sabinsa presented Promond, an almond-based protein powder, and Curcumin C3 Complex®, a patented ingredient providing benefits like joint and brain health.

ADM/Matsutani LLC showcased Fibersol in a spiced cold brew coffee with 6 grams of plant-based dietary fiber.

International Agriculture Group exhibited their NuBana N200, a green banana flour rich in resistant starch, which acts as a prebiotic fiber, resists digestion and instead stimulates the growth of beneficial bacteria in the large intestine.

NuLiv Science debuted two new ingredients: AstraGin, a nutrient absorption enhancer and ActiGin, a premium recovery and endurance ingredient.

Natreon showcased four Natreon One sports nutrition products including PrimaVie, which uses Himalayan Shilajit and is suggested to improve energy, performance, and joint health, and AuyFlex, a joint-supporting superfruit extract, suggested to reduce inflammation and help with recovery.

KSM-66 exhibited their Ashwagandha extract, which enhances focus and reduces stress and anxiety by lowering cortisol levels.

Quinoa and quinoa flour

NP Nutra introduced an organic quinoa powder containing all nine essential amino acids (Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Tryptophan, Valine).
