Taking holiday parties off pause

holiday party

Time is ticking until the holiday season and party planning is proving to be just as difficult as last year.

Imbibe’s Human Resource Business Partner, Michael Blachut, spoke with Crain’s Chicago on our plans for hosting a holiday party in 2021.

With Imbibe’s steady growth, this winter’s holiday party is going to require a big enough space to hold all our employees – both old and new. Keeping our employees happy and promoting a sense of balance in their lives is a top priority, which we considered when we made the decision to schedule our celebration for January 2022. Our goal is to ensure that during the holiday season (which can be stressful and busy), Imbibers have time to spend with their family and friends. We hope that having a celebration in January gives our rock star team members something to look forward to as they head back to the office, refreshed and ready for an awesome year.

The details for the festivity? A company-wide gathering at our Niles campus featuring food, games, and of course drinks, while catching up with our colleagues. Since our warehouse is big, open, and onsite, we thought it would be the perfect place for people to have a ball and maintain the distance they need to feel comfortable.

While the past 20 months have brought on new challenges to overcome, we’re looking forward to commemorating a banner year. As we toast to our success and the success of our customers, we will also be preparing for a year full of a lot of exciting innovations and expansion of our offerings to better support the dynamic marketplace.
