An increasing number of consumers are striving to figure out what healthy means for them and are demanding better-for-you options in the form of lower-calorie, reduced-sugar, and more naturally positioned products. Beverages are under fire especially in foodservice since it’s easy to find offerings that are packed with more than 50g of added sugar (the new RDV from the FDA, come 2020) and can be consumed at a much faster pace than traditional meals. This session will offer product and market insights in conjunction with real-world case studies to demonstrate strategies to enhance foodservice beverage offerings that address consumers’ health and wellness concerns.
